Welcome to our site!

Eden Christian Trust (ECT) is an ecumenical youth organisation dedicated to working with young people in Edenbridge churches, schools and on the streets.

Our primary activity is the award winning ECT Youth Club, which meets on Friday nights at 7.30pm - 9.30pm term time only at the Old Chapel, Riverside, High Street, Edenbridge. The club provides a social outlet for school year 6 to 18 years of age in the Edenbridge area. We offer a pool table, table tennis, air hockey, table football, badminton, crafts, tuck shop, discussion/trips and activities that can be arranged outside of the premises.

New for 2021

ECT Youth Club

ECT Youth Club reopened its doors on the 10th September after the summer holidays. We shall continue to follow the National Youth Agency guidance regarding covid19 safety.

We are now accepting new members however the club is experiencing a very busy period as we are reaching our full capacity on a regular basis, we apologies for any disappointment to young people that are unable to attend a session for this reason.

On Friday 8 November Sevenoaks District chairman Councillor Diana Esler called in at the ECT Youth Club. ECT had invited her to come along and meet the Young People who use the Club and our Youth Worker Anthony Shipwright, following a successful bid by the trust for funding from the Council to support and enable ECT’s ongoing programme of activities in the town and surrounding villages.

Anthony commented “It was great to welcome Diana on a busy evening for ECT and to have an opportunity to thank her and Sevenoaks District Council for their support. We were also able to give her an insight into our other areas of work such as mentoring, outreach, school visits, summer camps and previous trips abroad.
