What we do
ECT Youth Club is a two time award winning Youth group held at the Riverside church building, Edenbridge high street.
Our Friday night youth group times are from 7:30pm - 9:30pm. Our age range is from School year 6+
The club is an opportunity for young people to come together for some fun games and activities and to just socialise with their friends after a busy school week.
Activities include: Full size pool table, table tennis, Air hockey, Table football and Badminton, Indoor soft archery and more. We also organise small trips out occasionally.
We have a tuck shop and lots of loud music. If this is not for you we also have a chill out area where we sometimes have craft activities.
We run an annual weekend camp and in the past have attended the Soul Survivor festivals these were week long events held at the Peterborough showground this festival sees up to 8,000 young people attending.
ONE to ONE
Our ONE to ONE group is a mentoring group working with young people in a one to one capacity.
This group is aimed at young people that just need a little more support in their lives and works at promoting self-esteem and confidence.
There are two sessions each lasting 45 minutes, each session consists of 6 young people and six adult helpers from all walks of life bringing their talents and skills into a craft working environment. We have also been out on some trips where young people have developed their confidence through activities such as abseiling and swimming.
Session 1: 5.15pm - 6.05pm
Session 2: 6.15pm - 7.05pm
Currently over Zoom.
This group runs fortnightly on Sunday evenings in a home environment for young people that are interested in learning more about the Christian faith.
The group takes part in Bible studies, discussions on various topics past, present and future that could possibly relate to their lives. We also watch films and have discussions relating to the Christian faith. The session usually ends up with a game or two. Oh and not to mention some good food as well.
BANTER @ BRIDGES
This group is a more focused group planned and organised by the young people. It works in achieving various goals and taking part in organised programmes and activities.
In the past we have partnered with West Kent YMCA who have provided young people with the opportunity to take part in schemes such as the Youth Champions award. Our young people have also taken part in a photographic project that ended up with an exhibition in our local gallery.
Other sessions have looked at substance misuse and the effects it has on our bodies this session was delivered by representatives from Kenwood youth services.

[ YOUR SPACE ]
Your Space offers drop in sessions for young people in the Edenbridge area, who are finding the challenges of everyday life tough.
The initiative is being offered in partnership with Eden Christian Trust and West Kent Housing Association youth services, and is focused on supporting the needs of young people, whether that’s offering signposting and information, or just a listening ear to chat over their worries and concerns.
You don’t need to book or tell us you’re coming, it’s your space - just drop in! The sessions are completely safe and adhere to all Covid-19 guidelines.
We’ll be at the The BRIDGES centre, Edenbridge high street (opposite Boots), every Tuesday between 4 and 6pm.
This service only runs when face to face work in not permitted.
