What we do

ECT Youth Club is a two time award winning Youth group held at the Old Chapel Riverside, Edenbridge high street.

Our Friday night youth group times are from 7:30pm - 9:30pm for School year 6+.

Our Thursday evening sessions are from 7:00pm - 9:00pm for school year 9+.

The club is an opportunity for young people to come together for some fun games and activities and to just socialise with their friends after a busy school week.

Activities include: Full size pool table, table tennis, Air hockey, Table football and Badminton, Indoor soft archery and more. We also organise small trips out occasionally.

We have a tuck shop and lots of loud music. If this is not for you we also have a chill out area where we sometimes have craft activities.

We run an annual weekend camp called PULSE which is held at the Blackland farm activity centre.

This year we also attended the Satellites Youth festival being run by Youthscape this was a week long events held at the Bath & West showground this festival saw up to 3,500 young people attending.

ONE to ONE

Our ONE to ONE group is a mentoring group working with young people in a one to one capacity.

This group is aimed at young people that just need a little more support in their lives and works at promoting self-esteem and confidence.

There are two sessions each lasting 45 minutes, each session consists of 6 young people and six adult helpers from all walks of life bringing their talents and skills into a craft working environment. We have also been out on some trips where young people have developed their confidence through activities such as abseiling and swimming.

Session times:
Session 1: 5.15pm - 6.05pm
Session 2: 6.15pm - 7.05pm

For more info please contact us.

The ECT House Group

The ECT House Group meets every other Sunday at the Riverside building Edenbridge high street. The sessions are for young people of secondary school age that are interested in exploring the Christian faith and relating it to topics in todays society that are relevant to them.

We also so enjoy some good food and always end the session with a game and on a high note.

Schools work

We run school clubs in our four local primary schools both after school and in lunch times.

Quest club takes the form of a movies & Crafts/games club showing animated stories from the bible each story is half an hour long with some craft activities to compliment the stories. We also lead and take part in various assemblies as well as supporting the schools on trips and residentials.

For more info on school clubs please contact your local primary school and ask for details on Quest club or the lunchtime clubs.

Working In Partnership

ECT is dedicated to working with all young people in the Edenbridge community.

More recently we have been working much closer in partnership with West Kent Youth Services, where we have been going out on foot (detached) to area's where young people congregate, to engage with those young people that we will not usually see within our building based settings.

We have also been supporting WKYS with their Olympia boxing sessions which are held at the Eden Centre on Thursday evenings from 7pm - 8pm.

Both of our organisations have been seeing great cross over from the young people enjoying the different activities that we both offer.
